User-Generated Content (UGC) & Moderation Policy
Last updated: February 2026
1. Principles of Authentic Community Sharing
ImmigrantAdvisor.co.uk hosts first-person accounts, timeline data, and practical relocation tips from genuine international applicants moving to the United Kingdom. We operate a strict anti-fabrication policy: we do not permit fake reviews, incentivized testimonials, AI-generated synthetic stories, or misleading advice.
2. Moderation Lifecycle & Indexation Rules
To maintain high editorial quality and protect readers from misinformation, all user-submitted content undergoes a mandatory moderation pipeline before becoming publicly visible or indexable:
Saved by user; private and not accessible to search engines.
Submitted to our casework moderation queue. Excluded from indexation.
Verified for accuracy, statutory compliance, and genuine user value. Publicly viewable and indexable.
Violates standards, contains illegal advice, or thin content. Completely removed with HTTP 404 / noindex.
3. Prohibited Content
- Advice encouraging overstaying, unauthorized work, or circumventing UK immigration control.
- Promotion of unverified visa agencies, fraudulent document vendors, or unauthorized intermediaries.
- Defamatory statements, abusive language, or privacy violations (sharing Home Office caseworker names or personal reference numbers).
- Affiliate links, spam promotional URLs, or commercial solicitation.
4. Legal Disclaimers & Personal Experiences
Community experiences represent individual personal circumstances and outcomes at a specific point in time. They do not constitute official UK legal or immigration advice. UK Immigration Rules change frequently; applicants must always consult official GOV.UK guidance or speak with a regulated OISC or SRA legal representative before acting.
